So, this has just come to my attention… Look at this:
When Regina throws her ring in Jefferson’s hat, and then when she realises the townspeople of Storybrooke remember who they are:
See the way her hand rests, and in the first one strokes, on her stomach? MATERNAL MAYOR IS MATERNAL.
In the first picture, look how happy she is. If you take it out of context, it almost looks as though she’s smiling because she’s just found out she’s pregnant. That’s when she realises she still has a chance to get rid of Emma - and, thus, prevent her from taking Henry away from her. She believes she still has a chance to be happy with her son.
I googled Lana Parrilla, and this came up.
Does anyone make better facial expressions than Ms. Parrilla? I think not.
I don’t understand. How is this not a scene from a movie? How is the building not exploding behind her as she calmly walks away?
